FFA Student Teacher has arrived!

                                         By: Matt Myers

Our student teacher has arrived! You might be asking well who is she? Her name is Miss. Piper (Sabrina Piper).  She lives in Johnstown, Ohio and was apart of the Johnstown– Monroe FFA program. While in the organization she held the office of chaplain, secretary, and president.  She was also the only girl from Johnstown– Monroe to get her American Farmers Degree.  Miss. Piper was also a member of the Pure Country 4-H club.  She has also held the office of secretary and president for the seven years Miss. Piper was involved.  Another interesting fact is that she owns a feeder calf and pig farm called Piper Farms. Her mother Rhonda and father Kevin help her in this business .  After the calf's  grow to the appropriate weight for butchering they take them to Perfect Meats where the customers will pick up the cuts of meat.

They currently have 25 customers and growing. Which she still  runs the business after her

graduation.  After her graduation from Johnstown– Monroe she attended OSU ATI in Wooster, Ohio.  During her second year attending she transferred to OSU main campus where she is majoring in Ag education and her minor is production agriculture. Miss. Piper will graduate in the spring of 2006 and is planning on getting her masters in Agriculture education.  While at John Glenn she's brought fun into the Class room by her get-to-know-you games. Miss. Piper has also shared her knowledge about forestry and soil. Miss. Piper has also taken over  the class while we have had substitutes and has done a superb job.  Miss. Piper  will be with the John Glenn Ag program until November 10th.
